supplies:
Bombshell Stamps
1 x Lampshade (paper or canvas) mine is a Ikea Ripe ($4 - the lampstand for it was $8)
Embossing Ink & Powder (I used clear)
Tattered Angel GlimmerMist (awesome product)

step 1: stamp & emboss where you DO NOT want colour - you could embossed in coloured powder aswell if you wanted. Heat in gentle rotations so you do not burn the lampshade. I stamped in sections so not to over heat the lampshade. It has a inner plastic lining so it will buckle a little when you heat it but once you spray with the Glimmer mist, it will revert back to smooth.

Step 2: Spray with glimmer mist. You can leave it to dry between colours. I didnt hence the colour runs which I like as it made an awesome effect like flames :) I sprayed with a bunch of yellows, oranges and reds to create a flame effect. its not so obvious in the photos though.

Step 3: place on lamp and enjoy.

I love the resist. My daughter and I started a nautical themed lampshade for her new "beach" theme....but...we haven't come close to finishing. The resist would have been cool!!
